The Core Training consists of: Basic Safety at Job Sites\, Construction Math\, Hand Tools\, Power Tools\, Blueprint Reading\, Basic Communication Skills\, Basic Employability skills\, and Material Handling.\nUpon completion of the training and passing of the final exam\, students will earn their CPR and First Aid certification and OSHA certification from our training provider Brenshirer Technical Institute.\n\nCourses will run Monday through Thursday from 9am-2pm beginning on Monday\, March 3\, 2025\nCourses will be hosted at the Franklin Board of Education\n2301 Route 27\, Somerset\, NJ 08873\n\nTraining is free for the first 10 eligible enrollees.\nStipends are available\nTransportation is available\nChildcare is available\nYou must be a Franklin Township Resident and must be 18 or older.\nAdditional criteria are detailed in the application link HERE\n  \n \nDownload the flyer here. \n
